We visited the Alcazaba of Almeria
In TESELA, we were able to visit the restoration works of the Torre del Homenaje of the Alcazaba of Almería, which began in September 2022.
The works have a completion period of 8 months, which was approved by the Regional Ministry of Culture and Historical Heritage, and the cost of the restoration contracts is 803,000 euros. With this intervention in the Tower, located in the third enclosure of the Monumental Complex, its rehabilitation will be carried out and, in addition, new areas such as, for example, the entrance door will be enhanced. In this way, the deterioration will be halted and the integrity of the materials will be recovered.
