Today we are very, very happy to be able to officially communicate one of the most awaited and relevant news for the company’s history.

The Department of University, Research and Innovation of the Regional Government of Andalusia, through the Directorate General of Research Planning, has decided to accredit and register in the electronic register of Agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System (SAC) TESELA Materials Innovation and Heritage as Accredited Technological Knowledge Agent (ACTA) with the registration number AC0360ACTA.

This important recognition as agents of knowledge generation by public institutions through the Agency for Scientific and University Quality of Andalusia (ACCUA) is a boost to both research and knowledge transfer work that TESELA performs since its founding, building an increasingly solid and recurrent bridge between academia and the market.

It should be noted that the Andalusian Knowledge System is composed of a set of entities that support, collaborate and project within and beyond the Andalusian borders the research work of the Community, therefore we are talking about a register mainly formed by public bodies and difficult to access by private companies, which has not been an obstacle for TESELA to meet the requirements set out in Decree 254/2009, of May 26 to be accredited as such, being one of the very few private entities that manage to do so, becoming part of a select group formed by Universities, Campuses of International Excellence, public research centers, the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), technology parks and centers and research groups in fields as diverse as fisheries, aerospace, nuclear, social, agro-industrial or construction.

Thus, TESELA takes another step, a giant one, in its positioning and commitment to research, technological development and innovation, in order to continue addressing challenges of greater importance and scope.
