🚀 MORFEO project kick-off meeting

🏗️ We are launching the MORFEO project – Functional Mortars and Concrete based on the alkaline activation of electric arc slag, with the participation of partners CELSA GROUP, EXTRACO and CETIM Technological Centre, and with TESELA Materiales Innovación y Patrimonio as the coordinating company.

💡 The project, funded by the STATE RESEARCH AGENCY within the framework of the Public-Private Partnership call for proposals, aims to develop alternative high added-value mortars and concretes formulated from recycled steel slag.

⚙️ To this end, innovative technologies and tools such as alkaline activation, artificial intelligence and life cycle assessment (LCA) will be applied, promoting more sustainable and efficient solutions in the construction sector.

♻️ This initiative promotes the circular economy and the development of advanced materials, exploring the materials developed and their possible applications at a pilot level.

In doing so, we are reinforcing our commitment to responsible innovation and sustainable construction.
