TESELA at PTEC’s Innovation Day and Annual Assembly


On March 26 and 27, the Spanish Construction Technology Platform (PTEC) held its eagerly awaited 2025 Annual Assembly, taking it outside Madrid for the first time. Bilbao and Santander were the host cities for this key event for the sector, bringing together experts, companies and institutions with the aim of boosting innovation in construction.
The Assembly kicked off with the Technical Innovation Day at TECNALIA Research & Innovation, in Bilbao. This space allowed attendees to learn first-hand about technological advances that are revolutionizing the sector, with special emphasis on industrialization and automation in construction.
On March 27, the activity moved to the School of Civil Engineering of the University of Cantabria (UNICAN), in Santander, where the PTEC Annual Assembly was held. In this space, innovative projects of the members of the platform were presented, with candidates for the II PTEC Award.
In addition to the technical sessions and presentations, the event featured networking activities and visits to key infrastructures, such as:
- Visit to TECNALIA’s facilities, where attendees explored advances in materials and automation.
- Reception and cocktail party at the Palacio de la Magdalena, in Santander, an emblematic space that encouraged the exchange of ideas among professionals in the sector.
- Presentation of the Best National Project Award to PTEC members, recognizing innovative initiatives that are making a difference in the industry.
Finally, the PTEC 2025 Annual Meeting reaffirmed its role as an essential meeting point for the future of construction in Spain. The combination of innovation, collaboration and strategic vision made this event a unique opportunity to drive the development of the sector.
