It is one of the oldest paradors in Spain, ordered by King Alfonso XIII and inaugurated on November 10, 1930. The building, declared of Cultural Interest, is an old noble house of Renaissance style and superb classical design attributed to the architect Andrés de Vandelvira.
The objective of this study was the mineralogical characterization of two samples of aggregates and a replacement mortar from the restoration work of the Parador de Úbeda (Jaén).
