CHARACTERIZATION OF MATERIALS FROM THE ROYAL CHANCELLERY OF GRANADA (GRANADA)

The Royal Chancery, designed by the Catholic Monarchs, who in 1505 decided to move the Court from Ciudad Real to Granada. The current building was built around 1530, during the reign of Charles V, where the courtyard was created by Diego Siloé and its facade is influenced by Italian Mannerism.

It is currently the seat of the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia.

The objective of this study was the mineralogical characterization of several samples of stone materials.
