CHARACTERISATION OF QUICKLIME, SLAKED LIME AND RAW MATERIAL SAMPLES

For this project, a series of samples of quicklime, lime putty and the stone material used as raw material were analysed. For their compositional, morphological and textural analysis, diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF), polarised optical microscopy (POM) and scanning optical microscopy (SEM) were used, as well as laser granulometry and rheological tests.
