3rd Technical Conference: ‘The Craft of Restoration 2026’ in Granada

On 12 June 2026, the Albayzín Centre will host the 3rd Technical Conference, ‘The Craft of Restoration’, organised in collaboration with ARESPA, under the theme ‘Innovation and Tradition in the Heritage Restoration Sector’.

This event has established itself as a key forum for professionals, companies and institutions involved in heritage conservation, providing a platform for sharing experiences, challenges and new opportunities within the sector.

The event will feature contributions from national and international experts, with a highlight being the lecture by Emanuele Amodei from the Istituto per l’Arte e il Restauro in Florence. In addition, there will be a number of panel discussions focusing on traditional trades, partnerships in cultural heritage, and innovation in building materials and construction systems.

In this context, Eugenio Navarro (TESELA, Materials, Innovation and Heritage) will take part in the panel discussion on materials, contributing his expertise in innovative solutions applied to restoration.

The event is rounded off with content on training, R&D&I and new initiatives in traditional construction, reinforcing the link between knowledge, practice and innovation.
