CHARACTERISATION OF MATERIALS FROM THE ISSO FORTRESS IN HELLÍN (ALBACETE)

For this project, a series of mortar samples from the Fortaleza de Isso in Hellín, Albacete were analysed. This is an Andalusian building built in the 12th century. For the compositional, morphological and textural analysis of these samples, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and polarised optical microscopy (POM) techniques were used.
