TESELA Materiales Innovación y Patrimonio is taking part in the restoration project for the San Miguel Watchtower, an 18th-century military watchtower situated in the Cabo de Gata area, in the province of Almería. This site is of great historical, architectural and landscape value; it forms part of the protected cultural heritage and was designated a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC) in 1985. This type of work on heritage sites requires a high degree of technical precision and a special sense of responsibility, as the main objective is to ensure the conservation of the building whilst respecting its historical identity and original values.
