Built in the early 16th century, this building is notable for its unique combination of defensive exterior architecture and a refined interior influenced by Italian design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work carried out has enabled us to gain a deeper understanding of the original materials used in the building, covering both stonework and mortar as well as wooden structural components.
