This interview highlights the company\u2019s role in developing advanced solutions for the construction sector, industry and heritage conservation. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TESELA and innovation in building materials<\/h2>\n\n<p>The interview covered key aspects that have shaped the company\u2019s development, from its origins as a spin-off linked to the University of Granada to its establishment as a firm specialising in advanced solutions. Particular emphasis was placed on the company\u2019s current focus on innovation in sustainable building materials, in line with the challenges of the green transition and the circular economy. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TESELA and materials science in historical heritage<\/h2>\n\n<p>One of the key themes of the interview was the role of materials science in the conservation of historical heritage. The importance of moving towards performance-based approaches, rather than the literal reproduction of traditional materials, was highlighted. These projects enable the development of innovative solutions aimed at: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sustainability in construction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Circular economy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energy efficiency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heritage restoration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Collaboration between TESELA and the innovation ecosystem<\/h2>\n\n<p>Another key point raised in the interview is collaboration with technology centres.
