HERITAGE MANAGEMENT

In TESELA we believe that the historic and cultural heritage is not only a static entity that only needs to be preserved to be transmitted to future generations. Internet has radically changed the way we relate to history, urban environments and natural landscapes. The models of traditional tourism, which are environmentally unsustainable and generate obvious inequalities between different territorial areas, are being revised upon different aspects.

In TESELA we work throughout the complete cycle of heritage, paying similar attention to historical research, graphic documentation of cultural assets and dissemination at different levels of graduation, so that the heritage is not only historical, but also cultural and thus incorporated to tourist circuits, be updated its use, but, above all, promote a consolidated heritage, restored and rehabilitated thanks to the attention that new economic fields, such as culture and tourism, lend to it thanks to an appropriate innovation in the cultural management.

Heritage is a broad-spectrum entity, intertwined with various spheres and with an impact on economic life, cohesive social development, knowledge of the past and the need to reuse media as an ecological proposal for avoiding the consumption of natural resources. In the developed world, heritage valuation is one of the keys to environmental improvement. TESELA is committed to cultural heritage as a source of economic wealth, environmental protection and an example of social progress.
