We continue the study of the columns of the Courtyard of the Lions of the Alhambra

After carrying out in 2017 the evaluation of the efficacy of a bio-consolidation treatment in some of the columns of the courtyard applied by the company KBYO Biological and having demonstrated the carbonatogenic activity of the bacteria in spite of the low porosity and the superficial deposits on the columns, we are now continuing the work to study the patinas and find out which treatments have been carried out previously and their efficacy.

This study is part of the work that we will carry out previously, during and after the application of the bio-consolidation treatment in the rest of the columns of the courtyard.
