Course: INITIATION TO PHOTOGRAPHY OF ARCHITECTURE AND HERITAGE
From 22 to 25 November 2017INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES
Since the modern classification of encyclopaedic knowledge, theoretical and practical knowledge have been separated, even institutionally at a formative level. Even today, when the barriers between the categories of knowledge are continuously put to the test since the advent of digital photography as a professional medium in the most different fields, the teaching of specific techniques of photography and documentalism are more necessary than ever. A huge number of people are interested in photography, for its application and personal and professional use. But when a scientific application involving the heritage of photography is needed, artistic techniques are not enough. To this end, the present course focuses on photographic parameterisation for scientific purposes, made possible by the capture of current sensors and the information contained in digital images of the RAW type, offering training that allows descriptive, aseptic or objective professional reportage to be carried out for reports, portfolios and documentaries applied to heritage, from the drafting of a documentary study, lectures or communications and even judicial experts.
